Ghost Grudge

The Ghost Grudge is a custom heavy revolver with a carbon-steel frame and a distinctive matte black finish. It has the highest base Power stat of any standard-access weapon in Resident Evil Requiem — only the RPG-7 and Mortar exceed it. Its massive stopping power comes at a cost: the slowest rate of fire and reload speed of any non-launcher weapon. Each shot feels genuinely weighty and deliberate — pressing the trigger against a heavy G&K spring. The Ghost Grudge cannot be found during a first playthrough; it must be purchased from the Bonus Content shop for 5,000 CP after completing the game. On subsequent playthroughs it is available from the item box from Chapter 1, transforming the entire power balance of early-game encounters.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you get the Ghost Grudge in RE9?

The Ghost Grudge is a Bonus Content shop item costing 5,000 CP. It becomes available after you complete Resident Evil Requiem for the first time. CP (Challenge Points) are earned by completing in-game challenges — check the Challenges menu during your first playthrough to earn CP efficiently.

Is the Ghost Grudge the best weapon in RE Requiem?

For raw power, yes — it has the highest base Power stat of any revolver and outperforms the Requiem Revolver on individual shots. However, it lacks the piercing ability of the Requiem Revolver which is often more useful in boss fights. Use Ghost Grudge for maximum burst damage; use Requiem Revolver when piercing through obstacles or multi-hitting bosses.
